We all love freebies and it should come as no surprise that even in web hosting there are tons of freebies if you know where to look.

Not all things free are equal though, and this time I’m going to look at what some of these free (and “almost-free”) web hosts have to offer.

Please note that some of these services can offer you a limited time, trials, subdomains etc.

As you may know, AWS is one of the largest cloud providers in the world. They offer a large number of cloud services like virtual servers, cloud storage, databases, IoT, out-of-the-box machine learning models and many more.

AWS has over 140 different services and the most popular ones are available (within limits) in the so-called Free Tier.

Infinity Free offers three shared hosting plans only, one of which is completely free of charge. It is titled “Infinity Free'' and it should include unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth (although it is limited to 50,000 daily hits), and unlimited hosting domains.

There are tons of other site builders and cloud providers that offer free hosting like Wix, Google Sites, Ucraft, Award Space, WordPress, Weebly etc...

Conclusion

While all these sites aren't bad for a free hosting service, I recommend you don't waste your time with free hosting, even if you're just starting out. You'll have to deal with slow loading speeds, lots of downtimes, and no customer support, and migrating your site to a different host later can be a real pain. I will say, only go for these to showcase your mini-projects to the world but not for a real business and a start-up project or a project you want to really invest in.
